I.T.
Selection and Provisioning
I.T. Selection and Provisioning involves determining the hardware requirements, depending upon the software application and resources needed. Once the hardware / software requirements are determined, a system can be configured with the appropriate hardware and software. We evaluate the requirements against a budget to provide the best solution.
Through our selection processes, we determine whether an organization needs a
separate Mail Server, Database Server, or Web Server or an integrated
multi-tasked server. We take into account the network/ computer performance,
adaptability, and manageability requirements. We can also do capacity planning
for you, if need be. Capacity planning is the process of determining type of
hardware and software configuration requirements to meet application needs.
This takes into account factors like enough bandwidth, storage requirements, network load and application design.
